To DONATE time and resources to the unhoused (homeless) and low-income populations and support other non-profits in their missions to serve other vulnerable populations

December - Santa’s Elf Project-Donate Christmas stockings and Christmas presents filled with toiletry items and other necessities

April- Spring Backpack Project-Donate backpacks filled with toiletry items and non-perishable snacks and water
September-Giving Gift Card Project- Donate $10-$15 gift cards to McDonald’s, Burger King and other fast food restaurants
November-Community Collaborative Project-Assist other nonprofit organizations with collecting and serving food

o To provide COACHING & education, training to “at risk” young men in juvenile detention centers (presentations, support groups, 1:1 support after release). To provide COACHING and technical support to those secular and non-secular organizations who are seeking to start a mentorship(coaching) program for young men in churches and community centers
About Project EDC-Educating, Donating and Coaching
- This NON-PROFIT was created to memorialize Eric Dewayne Collins (EDC), who tragically lost his life on September 8, 2023. Eric was born November 6, 1971. Eric was the 3rd of three children who struggled socially and academically throughout his school years. In adulthood, his struggle to find a place in the world to belong, he eventually found solace through escapism with drugs. The drug use triggered the onset of severe mental illness, from which he never fully recovered. The chronic drug use eventually resulted in homelessness. However, before getting “lost” in the drug abyss, he tried to find his identity as a young man, as he did not have the mentoring he needed from his father. Five years before Eric lost his life, he had become sober and was attempting to encourage others to seek sobriety and spirituality. He started mentoring his nephews about the importance of coping with life issues without drugs.
